This is Rocco, he came in to SGS's care in March 2013. He had been surrendered to us due to a broken leg sustained while racing. He was no longer of any use to his trainer. SGS immediately took him in and he went straight to the vets. He was given an x-ray and this showed that his leg had shattered into about 15 pieces. The vet told us it was one of the worst breaks he had ever seen. SGS made the decision to do whatever was necessary to save the leg. Many months and thousands of pounds later Rocco was a happy healthy dog who eventually found his forever home.
